The philosophy, philosophy works with . . . not even concepts. It doesn't have any content. It's not about anything.

Gendlin: Philosophy is about the concepts, but not even the concepts. Theoretical people work on concepts. Philosophy works on kinds of concepts. And ｔhis is a funny notion to most people. What I need to talk about is the kind of concept that we're developing, a kind of concept that's really different from all the concepts that we mostly use.

哲学は、共に働くのです･･･概念でさえないものと。
The philosophy works with...not even concepts

Study: 無冠詞・複数形のconcepts をどう訳すか、言葉以前のものと働くという文章の意味合い。日常語としての構想さらに発想のほうがより柔らかで、言葉以前のものに近づいていくように感じる。英文では、哲学はそれ以前のものと働くと語っているのだ。
